Smar Manifold Valves use the needle valve for high pressure concept, with a non rotating tip which allows a closure without “pick up” or galling between the tip and the seat of the valve.
The tip is self-adjustable to the seat on closure, avoiding leak paths through the spindle, a traditional problem found in swaged ball and solid spindle types.
Higher life-cycle due to an exclusive sealing system, which allows better performances on processes and maintenance.
Smar Manifold Valves can be supplied in Stainless Steel Rolled 316*, Hastelloy*, Monel*, Super Duplex*, Carbon Steel Plated*. The gaskets can be provided in PTFE (default), and their bolts come in Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel.
They are also available for vacuum, oxygen and NACE (MR 01-75 version) applications.
All of the valves have tracking codes engraved in their blocks, in accordance with EN10204 – 3.1.B standard. The pressure tests follows API598 standard procedures.
