Capacitives
P+F Capacitive sensors are designed to detect any non-metallic object, including granular materials and liquids. They are available in several different housing styles, including cylindrical, limit switch and flat pack. Most are made of either stainless steel or durable crastin and feature sensing ranges from 1 mm to 50 mm.

Please contact us for  more information on a specific product subfamily in the Capacitives product family.

Subfamily Description
NAMUR  Pepperl+Fuchs capacitive NAMUR sensors are designed for operation in hazardous areas and are certified for all hazardous area classifications when connected to our switch isolators.A variety of styles and housing materials is available, with sensing ranges from 1 to 50 mm. Some capacitive NAMUR sensors also feature adjustability via a potentiometer mounted on the sensor housing.
3/4 Wire DC  Three- and four-wire DC sensors have extra features to enhance sensor functionality. All three- and four-wire sensors include yellow or red LEDs to indicate output status, and most are adjustable via a potentiometer mounted on the sensor housing. Sensing distance ranges from 1 to 50 mm.
AC  All 2-wire AC sensors feature LEDs for output status and/or power status and full adjustability with a potentiometer mounted on the sensor housing. 2-Wire AC sensors are available in cylindrical, limit switch and flat-pack housing styles made of stainless steel or crastin.
