IS-RPI is Pepperl+Fuchs intrinsically safe remote I/O platform designed for installation in the hazardous area of a process facility. With IS-RPI, Pepperl+Fuchs leads the field in placing a remote I/O system in a Class I, Division 1/Zone 1 hazardous area. This modular Point-to-Bus system communicates via open fieldbus protocols to a controller in the safe area. If you are an OEM/Machine Builder, IS-RPI is the right system for you. Just mount the IS-RPI system on your machine, test it and ship it to its destination. No expensive, time consuming re-wiring is required!
