Data Matrix Readers

With the introduction of Data Matrix readers, Pepperl+Fuchs now includes this high performance optical method. Data Matrix is an internationally standardized code symbology that is expected to replace many older codes (code 39 and code 128) and is also well-suited for new applications. Data Matrix enables detailed information to be carried on extremely small objects with a significant increase in read reliability.

Subfamily Description
Handheld Data Matrix Readers These handheld scanners are lightweight and comfortable in the hand, yet rugged and versatile enough for the most demanding applications. These portable scanners are able to read 1-D and 2-D codes with very accurate laser targeting systems. Codes are read quickly, precisely and omnidirectionally. Models are available in a palm-held, traditional gun, or in the popular pen scanner version.
Stationary Data Matrix Readers The stationary models are fixed mounted Data Matrix ECC 200 and Pharmacode readers for product identification or online data recording. These readers come with a digital signal processor, omnidirectional reading capabilities, built-in reflection suppression; speedy data transfer, and read at very high transport speeds.
